After years as a very recreational team, with promotion to the 2nd Division in 2002, SPAM became a B team.
SPAM regularly enters weekend tournaments both in London and around the country. In 2006, SPAM won promotion into Division 1 of the Greater London Softball Mixed League. After successfully holding their place in Division 1 in 2007, SPAM struggled in league games in 2008 and were relegated at the end of the season, following a play-off game against the Breakers.
As far as tournaments were concerned, 2008 was a very successful season for the team, seeing them reach five finals and winning four of them. SPAM capped off their season winning the B Gold Nationals.
